Matthew 16:1-3 New King James Version (NKJV)

1. Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven.

2. He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’;

3. and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.

Jesus told the Pharisees and Sadducees very bluntly He expected them to be aware of what was going on around them, the signs of the times in their time.Jesus expects us to be aware of the signs of our times as well. Use the media to become informed not decieved.

Jesus said the truth will make us free, John 8:32, but the devil wants us to be ignorant so we can be manipulated.

Christians should love the truth and be intolerant of lies like Jesus was.
