Statement Of Belief

We believe that Jesus Christ, the anointed saviour is the only begotten Son of the Father, was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born by the virgin Mary as truly God and truly man.

We believe Jesus was crucified, died, was buried and rose again from the dead.

We believe He is now seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty in His kingdom.

We believe the Bible is the Word of God and is an infallible source governing belief and behaviour.

We believe in personal redemption through the shed blood of Jesus paying the ransom for our sins.

We believe in personal holiness and spiritual growth through the washing of the Word of God and the effective work of the Holy Spirit.

We believe that redemption works for the whole person, body, soul and spirit and this includes physical and emotional healing.

We believe in water baptism for believers and the baptism in the Holy Spirit which is evidenced by speaking in other tongues, in the gifts and fruit of the Spirit and that they are available to all believers.

We believe God is love and that we are to love God and our neighbour.

We believe that the righteousness of God demands justice for all and that Jesus will return to judge the living and the dead.
