Mark 3:28-30
28 Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they may utter;
29 but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation .
30 because they said, “He has an unclean spirit.”
The people Jesus was most disappointed with were the scribes and Pharisees. They should have recognized who He was. But they allowed their hearts to become hardened and weren’t listening to God any more.
Even when the scribes saw Jesus teaching the wisdom of God, healing people and casting out demons they said He did it by demonic power. They had sunk to a place where they wanted to destroy Jesus.
How did it come to that? They had reached a point where they called good - evil and the power of God the power of the devil.
This is often called the unforgivable sin but it is also the unrepentable sin. People who go that far away from God don’t want to repent. If you’re worried you might have committed such a sin – you haven’t. If you’re under conviction you can still repent and God will still forgive.
We don’t want to become like the Pharisees and miss God. We should judge ourselves every day and whenever we see something in our hearts that shouldn’t be there, repent and ask God to take it from us and He will.
Mark 3:

29 but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation .
30 because they said, “He has an unclean spirit.”
Acts 10:38
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil for God was with Him.
Jesus had to be anointed and empowered with the Holy Spirit to do everything He needed to do on earth and so do we. We are wrestling with the same devil Jesus did and He relied on the Holy Spirit’s help.
The Apostle Paul wrote in Ephesians 6:12
For we don’t fight against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
The challenges and crises we face in this life have a spiritual origin. If we are just trying to deal with the natural symptoms or circumstances of a spiritual problem, we will have limited or even no success.
Whatever problem you can think of probably has a spiritual power working behind the scenes using human players or “natural” circumstances to work against someone, especially Christians. We need to be smart and get spiritual. Defend ourselves against the flesh and blood attacks and spiritually attack the spiritual entities, the principalities, the powers, the rulers of the darkness of this age in prayer and faith.
Christians can’t afford to be spiritually naïve. We need to fight demonic forces with the power of the Holy Spirit.
