1 Corinthians 2:9 The apostle Paul quoted Isaiah 64:4
Eye has not seen nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man
the things which God has prepared for those who love Him?
We don’t worship God for nothing. There are rewards for being in a right relationship with God.
In this life we have to live by faith not seeing the God we worship. We believe before we see the answer to our prayers.
When our bodies die and the real us, our spirits go to be with the Lord. Our glorified body will be raised up later. We will see, hear and experience things that are impossible to imagine or describe in this earthly life.
However long and hard the search for God is, however much opposition we experience, God’s super abundant reward is extreme and forever. There are many benefits and advantages for walking with the Lord in this life but the best is yet to come.
In 1 Corinthians 2:9 the apostle Paul quoted Isaiah 64:4
Eye has not seen nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man
the things which God has prepared for those who love Him?
3 John 2
Beloved I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health,
just as your soul prospers.
In John's third letter he was inspired by the Holy Spirit to pray that the believers would
• prosper in all things and be in good health
• just as much as we prosper spiritually.
God wants the best for us. He wants us to prosper in all things, not some, but all things. He wants us to be successful in every aspect of our lives. For example, this includes our relationships and our financial security.
Next His heart’s desire for us is to be in good health. He wants us to have a portion of His own life in us and if necessary, receive our healing if we’re sick.
God is not glorified by His people just getting by or being sick. He wants us to prosper in all things and live fulfilled lives as a reflection of who He is and our relationship with Him.
3 John 2
Beloved I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health,
just as your soul prospers.
